Red Reign 11/22/09 - 11-23-2009, 02:56 AM

Transmission begins as the poster for Red Reign appears on the screen.

The scene then turns to a filled, massive arena that is going wild. Large red fireworks begin exploding around the ring and entrance, temporarily drowning out the screaming fans. Once they stop, the fans are heard again as they jump up and down, holding signs of all colors. A large cage can be seen hanging from the rafters, high above the ring. Flashes come from all around the arena. Finally, the ring announcers can be heard, particularly excited on this night.

Kevin Johnson: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Moscow as WHQ presents its pay per view, Red Reign!

Frank Little: You can feel the excitment radiating from all of these Russian fans as we kick off what is sure to be a show for the ages!

Kevin: And we kick off Red Reign with a No Holds Barred match between Ms. Murder, Paige and Ace Cannon. And Frank, this match will is going to be historic as it will be barbaric.

Frank: You’re not kidding, Kevin! The first male vs female No Holds Barred match in Wrestling's Highest Quality.

Kevin: Let's take it to Jenna Fox for the introductions.

Jenna is in the ring wearing a lovely red dress with matching lip stick and a big smile.

Jenna: Welcome to Red Reign!

The fans scream with joy for a long time.

Jenna: The opening contest will be a No Holds Barred match, and is schedualed for one fall. Making her way to the ring first, Paige!

“King of the World” by Porcelain and the Trap hit’s the speakers as Paige appears at the entrance way. She gives a somewhat cold glare to the audience around her with a small smirk as she makes her way down to the ring. She climbs in the ring and glares out to the fans who mostly whistle and boo.

Kevin: Here comes Ms Murder, and she does look like she could kill tonight..

Frank: Not if a certain Ace Cannon has anything to say about it, Kev.

Jenna: And making his way to the ring second, Ace Cannon!

“Hunt You Down” by Saliva plays. The arena goes dark and white sparks began to fall at the entrance was as green sparks shoot up from the ramp. As the sparks stop Ace Cannon is standing atop the entrance ramp with a cocky smirk on his face as the lights come back on. He makes a slow strut to the ring taunting fans and little kids. He enters the ring and sits down on the top turnbuckle as he waits for the match to start.

Frank: Ace Cannon looks surprisingly relaxed. Just sitting around, waiting for the bell to ring. Confidence is key to win any match, and Ace does not seem to be in short supply.

Paige hits Cannon with a Lariat from behind, as the ref rings the bell. She drags the Ace back to his feet, and hits him repeatedly with right forearm shots.

Kevin: Not a good start for men all over the World, as Paige dominates Cannon.

Frank: Erm, some men like being dominated by women..

Kevin: Let’s not get into your pastimes, Frank.

Cannon is down in the corner, and Paige sets him up for the Shattered Dreams. But as she goes for the hit, Cannon rolls out of the ring between the ropes. He then stands outside the ring, gloating at the fans.

Kevin: Not sure how wise it is for Ace to gloat, when he hasn’t got any offence in yet.

Frank: Kev, you don’t get it! It’s old school psychology. He’s telling Paige her offence has no effect on the Ace.

Paige watches Cannon on the outside patiently. Suddenly, she runs towards him and launches herself through the ropes.

Kevin: ELBOW SUICIDA! That came out of nowhere!

Frank: She’s not going to let up here, Kev.

Paige gets up slowly and pushes Ace back into the ring. She goes for the pin, but only get a two count. Unfazed, she drags him to his feet. As Cannon kneels groggily, Paige hits the ropes for momentum and attempts as running bulldog. Cannon rolls out of the way and tries to hit a Yakuza kick as Paige turns around. She ducks the boot and sizes him up for a neck breaker. Ace pushes her off, and runs for a Lariat, but Paige slides between his legs. As Paige gets to her feet, Cannon finally makes contact with a hard European uppercut. He then quickly locks her in a Boston Crab, far away from the ropes.

Kevin: Big mistake by Paige. She avoided almost every kick and punch Cannon had to offer, but now she’s caught in the submission...and it’s along way to salvation for WHQ’s female enigma.

Frank: And Cannon is not going easy on her. He’s putting his weight on her spinal cord, and he could cause some serious nerve damage here, especially Ms Murder does not tap out.

Kevin: She is in pain, by the looks of it, but nowhere near ready to give up, thought it might just be a wise choice.

Paige screams in pain. Using all her strength, she crawls forward ever so lightly and grabs a chair. Cannon, facing the other direction, has no idea as she smashes his head with the chair. He stumbles to his feet, and a Paige who can barely stand cracks him again. And again. And again.

Kevin: She’s gone mad, Frank.

Frank: Well, hell hath no fury...

Paige takes a moment to watch a half conscious Cannon. She limps to the pile of weapons on the side. She places a Ladder on top of Cannon. Paige exits the ring, to set up another ladder. She then climbs it.

Kevin: This woman must be crazy. She’s on the outside of the ring, on top of a ladder. What in blue blazes is she trying to do?

Paige screams a war cry before turning around to face the fans while she is atop the ladder. As she prepares to jump, Cannon begins to stir. Paige, unaware, jumps for a Moonsault. Cannon quickly gets up and throws the ladder that was on him at the oncoming Paige. She is smashed mid-flight, and crashes down in the ring.

Frank: Damn! That was sick. He just threw a ladder at her while she was air bourne. She’ s not going to walk away from that one.

Kevin: Pin her Ace, PIN HER!

Cannon looks at Paige, with a sadistic smile. He then starts too pile weapons on top of a lifeless Paige. Signboards, trash cans, chairs, ladders, tables, kendo sticks and the like all placed on her body. Cannon then exits the ring to look for more weapons. He re enters with a steel chair.

Frank: I think we may be seeing the last of Ms Murder. Cannon doesn’t look very merciful tonight.

Kevin: I don’t get it Frank, he should just pin her. Enough is enough. Why not take the win and leave?

Frank: It’s not about winning, mate. It never was. He’s sending a message to everyone.

Cannon circles the pile of weapons in the ring. Paige can no longer be seen, and Cannon proceeds to hit the pile repeatedly with a chair. After 8 shots, he finally stops, and pushes aside weapons . However, Paige isn’t there. She is instead standing behind him, kendo stick in the hand. Just then, the lights go off.

Kevin: What’s happening?

Frank: Power cut.

Kevin: Douchebag, what is going on this time?

The lights come back on. Nothing else has changed. Ace Cannon uses the distraction to level Paige with a steel pipe from the pile of weapons. Before he can cover her however, “Rock and Roll Outlaw” by Rose Tattoo hits the speakers. Jack Savage jumps over the barricade from the crowd with a wooden baseball bat in hand.

Kevin: What is this about?!

Savage slides into the ring and immediately goes to work, bringing end of the bat into Cannon's midsection. Savage raises the bat and sends it crashing down hard across the back of Cannon and cannon hits the mat.

Frank: Savage has a match! I don't think he's going to want to fight twice tonight!

Savage turns around and slugs Paige in the midsection as well, dropping her straight down.

Frank: Oh come on! He didn't have to do that!

Savage begins picking up weapons in the ring and throwing them at the downed combatants in the ring. Soon enough, both have rolled out of the ring. Savage dumps all the rest of the objects over the rope and onto the bodies outside the ring. Savage then grabs a microphone from Jenna and gets to the center of the ring, mic in one hand, bat in the other.

Savage: SEMI! These two have proved their worthfullness and it turned out to be even less than your's! I'm sick of waiting! Get your fat ass out here so I can kick it all around this cage!

Semi's music begins playing, but Semi is already storming onto the ramp, steel chair in hand, fists heavily taped. The angle pans out over the crowd to show Semi take off at full sprint to the ring with the cage of doom lowering slowly.

Kevin: We're getting started quick! Here they go!

Frank: These two can't wait to brutalize each other!

Semi slides under the bottom rope with enough momentum to make the entire ring jump.

Kevin: This is going to be ugly!

Frank: Also, if you're keeping score at home, the name of the match was changed to Cage of Doom for erm... legal reasons. But not to worry, it's just a brutal and terrifying!

Semi leaps to his feet, swinging the chair as Savage swings his bat. They clash in mid air with an explosive crash. The chair flies up in the air, out of Semi's hands. Semi's eyes grow wide and he hits the mat, ducking a home run swing. Semi rolls backwards out of the ring and turns his head to the sky to see the cage about to secure him from the ring. A sadistic grin crosses his face as he takes another step backwards and waves his hand, brushing off Savage.

Kevin: There's no way in or out of that cage once it lowers!

Savage fills with rage and rolls out of the ring himself. He bolts and throws a right fist at Semi, but Semi ducks. Semi takes off and rolls into the ring, barely able to avoid being pinched by the cage that locks into place around the ring. Savage turns just in time to watch it stop. He rages as Semi turns with the same twisted grin from in the ring.

Frank: Semi turned it around and Savage got barred from the ring! That sly dog!

Kevin: But why? Semi's been provoking this fight for a long time and now he chickens out?!

Frank: I think you under-estimate the former world champion.

Savage points a finger at Semi and yells fouly at him. Semi points back and laughs deeply. He turns his finger to the top of the cage which is lined with a large, bushy mass of razor sharp barbed wire. Semi yells out to Savage, "only one way back in!"

Savage paces to one side, turns, throws off his shirt, revealing heavily taped ribs, and leaps onto the cage. Semi grins and picks up Savage's bat. Savage climbs the cage quickly as the fans stand and cheer.

Frank: He's not gunna...

Savage reaches up and grabs the barbed wire. He grits his teeth and pulls himself up slowly into the barbed wire, which sits like a bush on top of the cage, flowing over the sides. Savage cranes his neck to keep his face clear of the wire as he pulls nearly the rest of him straight into it as he reaches the top of the cage.

Kevin: Savage is a mad man! He's climbing through barbed wire! You can see blood already!

Frank: That's how bad he wants to get his hands on the man in the ring!

Semi watches with a sick grin as Savage pulls himself to his knees as most of his body is tangled in the wire. Savage grunts and groans in pain as he grabs the wire and pulls it out of his hair and off of his skin and tights. Pin stripes of blood begin running down Savage's chest, back, and both arms. Savage holds out a tangle of wire and screams at Semi who readies his bat in the ring. Savage doesn't begin to climb down, but instead begins to tear at the barbed wire. He wraps a tangled mass around his right hand and pulls more loose.

Frank: I don't even want to know what Jack is planning here!

Savage pulls loose a long spiral of barbed wire and drops it to the ring below. It swings down and dangles in the corner, left of the entranceway, between the turnbuckle and cage. Savage then begins to look for his way down. He starts to put a foot down but Semi swings his bat, crashing just below Savage's leg.

Kevin: This doesn't look good for Savage.

Savage hints at lowering his leg again and again, Semi swings the bat. Savage smiles at Semi who looks confused just before Savage leaps straight down and kicks Semi in the face on the way. Semi hits his knee and the crowd explodes. The referee finally calls for the bell.

Ding ding ding!

Kevin: This match is now officially started, and we're already looking at blood and carnage.

Savage turns and immediately begins hitting Semi in the head with hard punches. He nails a few before Semi collects his wits and shoves Savage back with the hard wooden bat. Semi gets to his feet and swings but Savage ducks. Semi swings again and Savage hits the mat and rolls out of the way. Semi's face begins turning red from anger and his intense swinging.

Semi turns as Savage gets to his feet and beckons Semi to swing again, which he does. Savage jumps out of the way and the bat crashes into the steel again. Savage takes the opportunity to dive and chop the back of Semi's knee. Semi goes down on his left knee hard. Savage then brings his own knee into the side of Semi's head. He goes down on his hands and drops the bat. Savage sees this and jumps on Semi's back. He begins reigning down shots to the back of Semi's head until his knees finally give out and he falls to his face. Savage rolls off the top of Semi and yells to the crowd, bringing him lots of cheers.

Frank: Savage is taking the advantage now! He was able to get that bat away from Semi without getting hit, which is definitely a plus for Savage.

Kevin: I'm beginning to think both of these men are crazy for even accepting this match!

Frank: I don't know if Savage had much of a choice really, with Benjamin Lester on his case all the time.

Kevin: I think he would want this feud to come to an end this way if you ask me. Savage is one of the toughest scrappers in all of professional wrestling. He just seems to have a thing for violence.

Savage turns and grabs the chair that Semi brought to the ring. Semi gets to his feet and Savage cracks the chair across his back. Semi stumbles to the ropes.

Frank: It's going to take more than a chair shot or two to put down either of these men!

Kevin: Don't forget about the physical abuse Savage has been through the last few weeks as well! A lesser man wouldn't even be standing if they were in Savage's shoes!

Savage swings the chair again but Semi meets it with a big fist, punching it off course. Semi then throws another fist that connects with Savage's jaw. He staggers and drops the chair to his side. Semi hits him again, then again, then pulls the chair from Savage's hands. He sinks the chair into Savage's head and drops it to the mat. Savage remains standing. Savage roars in Semi's face and demands more. Semi becomes furious and begins peppering Savage with fists.

Frank: Savage certainly is tough, but not even he should be messing with the bull here. Semi sure has some horns on him.

Semi grabs Savage by the throat and continues hitting him with left fists. After several, Semi lets go and Savage falls to one knee. He looks up to Semi and asks for more yet again. Semi takes a quick look to the crowd before turning back to Savage and sending his huge black boot into Savage's face, knocking him straight down.

Frank: See what I mean? Getting hit by a Semi is no joke.

Semi turns and drops a knee to the side of Savage's head, rolling him over, towards the cage. Semi drags Savage by the head across the mat to the cage and shoves his face into the steel. Semi puts his boot to Savage's head and grinds his face into the mesh. The referee watches on, with pain on his face, knowing there's nothing he can do to help.

After a long while and an uproar of boos, Semi releases Savage and glares out at the crowd through the linked enclosure.

Kevin: These two have quite a history of hatred and bloodshed, but I think we're far from through with that brutality.

Frank: This isn't so much of a match as a fight to the death, as the name suggests. Neither of these guys are looking for a simple pin or submission. They're not going to stop until the other person can't continue, I can guarantee you.

Kevin: Don't you forget, Frank; there are weapons of all sorts aligning the cage. Due to the improper start of the match, we weren't able to give everyone a good look.

Hanging around the cage are metal pipes, Singapore canes, steel chairs, small lengths of chain, and other hard to make out goodies.

As if Semi were listening, he climbs up to the second rope, over a heavily breathing Savage, and reaches for a cane.

Kevin: I should learn to keep my mouth shut.

Frank: I couldn't agree more, partner. Savage appears to be in for a world of hurt.

Semi hops down to the ring with a big thud as Savage is crawling from the corner on all four's. Semi raises the cane, aims and brings it down with a horrific crack across the spine of Savage. Savage yells in pain and rolls to his back. He writhes and rolls back to his knees.

Semi pulls Savage to his feet and whips him across the ring. As Savage returns, Semi swings the cane at Savage's midsection, making another loud crack that echoes through the arena. The cane however, is caught under the arm of Savage, after the impact to the ribs.

Savage kicks Semi in the gut, forcing him to release the cane. Savage flips it around into his hands and swings like a madman, aiming at the side of Semi's left thigh. The can sinks into Semi's leg once, twice, and a third time for good measure before he even knows what is happening. Semi's leg buckles and he falls to his knees.

Kevin: Savage is back in this with a vengeance!

Savage steps up beside Semi and begins another crazed assault, swinging as hard and as fast as he can, across the backs of Semi's shoulders.

Frank: *Whistles* That will chop a man down real quick, no matter how big.

Kevin: This is sick!

Savage shoves Semi's head forward and he face plants into the mat. Savage looks out to the crowd as he marches into position beside Semi again, then his tugs the back of Semi's shirt up over his head. The fans scream as Semi's red and swollen shoulders are exposed and Savage's eyes grow wild.

Savage lifts the cane high and begins another assault, using his entire body to guide the cracking and splintering kendo stick across the quickly reddening back of Semi. After several shots, the stick becomes limp and bushy, being destroyed over Semi's bare flesh. At this point, Savage throws the cane clean over the cage and into the crowd, to finish his crazed attack.

Semi's back is now striped from neck to waist with blistering red and purple welts. A large concentration of them in the center is trickling blood. Semi barely moves, other than his heavy breathing, as his shirt is still pulled taught over his head.

Kevin: We expected violence, but this... this is something else.

Frank: This is ultra-violence! We've stepped into A Clockwork Orange!

Kevin: Obscure references aside, I think the best thing that can happen is Savage pins Semi here. This has gone too damn far!

Frank: Are you kidding? This is exactly what Cage of Doom is all about! This is far from over!

Savage screams back to his screaming fans and rattles the cage. He cracks his neck and swings his arms, warming himself up before turning to face Semi who is beginning to crawl slowly towards the ropes. Semi pulls at the shirt over his head and releases himself from its hold. It covers the wounds across Semi's back once more.

As Semi begins to pull himself up on the ropes, Savage once again grabs his ball bat. He acts like he's practicing his swing as Semi stands straight and turns toward Savage. Savage wraps his hand around the tip of the bat and sends a sharp jab into Semi's stomach. It bounces off as Semi doubles over slightly for a moment.

Semi then stands straight and with all the rage and energy he can muster, roars in the face of Savage. Semi grabs the bat and tugs it from Savage's grip. Semi lifts it high, with one hand at each end, and snaps the bat like a twig over his knee. Savage's eyes grow wide with shock.

Kevin: Dear lord, what strength!

Frank: That guy is just plain scary.

Savage throws a hard shot that seems to bounce right off of Semi's jaw. Semi grabs Savage by the back of the head and head-butts him hard, sending him down to the mat. Savage shakily gets back to his feet pretty quickly and stumbles to the corner to get away from Semi.

Semi cocks his arm and takes off after Savage. Semi swings a big clothesline at Savage in the corner but Savage dives out of the way at the last moment. Savage spins Semi around and swings a chop that is caught by Semi. Semi keeps hold of Savage's wrist with one hand and grabs his throat with the other. He then spins around and heaves Savage over the top ropes and crashing into the cage behind them. Savage falls over the turnbuckle where he becomes wedged up against the cage.

Semi uses the opportunity to send several hard shots into the midsection of Savage who struggles to pull himself out of the turnbuckle's hold.

Kevin: Savage again finds himself in a worrying position!

Frank: What a great match this is turning out to be!

Kevin: Depends on your definition of great. In my mind, greatness rarely puts people in the hospital.

Semi climbs up to the first rope and reaches up the cage for something hanging at the top, partially tangled in barbed wire. He climbs to the middle then top. It is noticed that a small patch of the shirt covering Semi's back is soaked in blood from the assault with the cane. Semi puts a finger to the barbed wire and picks at it. Semi looks to find a drop of blood forming on the finger and mouths "ouch." He then reaches in and pulls out a small black bag. He looks inside and grins. He pulls the bag closed and climbs back down.

Kevin: Oh god, what's he got now?

Frank: It appeared to be something Semi likes, which I can only assume means it's something that Savage won't.

Savage is makes his way to his feet, between the ring and the cage as Semi turns to find him, once down from the turnbuckle with bag in hand. Semi punches Savage in the head before sliding the bag under the bottom turnbuckle. Once he does, he continues the assault on Savage with another big fist. Semi then turns and bounds across the ring.

Frank: Oh my! This won't be good!

Semi rebounds off the ropes across the ring and returns, building momentum. He takes the final bound and crashes into the ropes and steel as Savage has hit the mat to get out of the way. Semi's momentum is reversed by the ropes and he rolls backwards, crashing off the mat and rolling back to his feet, then finally taking a knee.

Kevin: Savage got out of the way there or he would be laying in a pile of little squares on the other side of the cage!

Frank: ...What is this, Tom and Jerry?

Kevin: Considering the size difference in this match, yeah, I guess it kind of is.

Savage crawls to the corner under the bottom rope. He tugs at something in the bottom corner and pulls it out and climbs to the top rope. Savage holds up yet another small black bag. He opens it up and pulls out brass knuckles. Savage tosses the bag to the side and slips the knuckles over his own. He then dives at Semi, who is now to his feet. Semi jumps back, narrowly avoiding the diving brass. Savage swings again and again, Semi ducks.

Semi gets around behind Savage and wraps his arms around him from behind. Semi lifts Savage high into the air, turns, and slams him down to the mat. Savage bounces back to his hands and knees, but holding his nose. Semi stomps down on Savage's back and he falls on his face again.

Kevin: Semi has to rely on his power here to avoid getting hit with that loaded fist!

Semi puts one leg on each side of Savage's body and pulls Savage back up to his knees. He then hops and brings all of his weight down across Savage's still pin-striped back Savage crashes down on his face again.

Frank: Semi's size and strength are major determining factors in every match he's in. The Cage of Doom is no different.

Semi steps away from Savage leans up against the ropes for a breather. He holds a hand to his back and cringes deeply. He checks his head, but finds only sweat. He breathes heavily for a long time as Savage lays on the mat in a cringing heap.

Kevin: Neither of these guys will be the same after tonight.

Frank: Especially Savage who now has stripes like a cat!

Semi turns his attention to the corner in front of the dangling barbed wire, which nearly touches the mat. Semi makes his way over to it, darting his eyes between the corner and Savage, who barely moves.

Kevin: I can't imagine this going good places.

Semi grabs the barbed wire, gritting his teeth, and pulls. He tugs the coiled and tangled wire, bit by bit over the top rope until the coil now hangs in front of the turnbuckle instead of behind. Semi finishes positioning the wire and shakes his hands, painfully. He looks them over, then rubs them together and wipes them across his shirt, leaving a small smear of blood. Semi makes his way to Savage and pulls him easily to his feet.

Semi scoops down and swings Savage around onto his shoulder. He turns towards the barbed wire in the corner and aims. Semi begins to step forward but Savage struggles and slides off the back. He kicks the back of Semi's left knee forcefully, then dives and sinks the brass on his fist into the back of the knee. Semi goes down.

Kevin: Savage still had that loaded hand and has been targeting that knee it seems.

Frank: That's a good way to not only take Semi off his feet, but to take away his strength. Savage is a ring vet. He aint no dummy!

Savage drops the knuckles and makes his way to one side of the ring where the chair carried to the ring by Semi is still laying. Savage carries the chair back to Semi, who is trying to hobble back to his feet, but having trouble with his knee. Savage nonchalantly pulls the chair back over his shoulder and swings it right into Semi's knee. Semi flops down and groans. Savage puts a foot down on Semi's ankle and turns the chair over in his hands, top edge down. He raises it and brings the point of the chair into the knee. Semi roars with pain and pounds on the mat. He sits up straight and glares at Savage with pain and anger on his face. Savage pulls the chair back and uppercut swings it into Semi's face, with a crash that makes the cheap seats cringe.

Frank: Oh, that didn't sound good.

Savage and the cameras watch Semi closely, who lays sprawled with his eyes closed and blood begins pouring from his head. Savage drops the chair and falls to his knees. He falls over Semi for the cover. The referee is quick to respond.

Kevin: Thankfully this match is over!

Frank: Thankfully? I thought it was great! That does have to be it though.

Kevin: NO!

Frank: Oh my god! Semi hasn't had enough yet! he got his shoulder up at the very last second.

Savage raises back to his knees and looks frustrated. He slaps Semi across the face as he gets back to his feet. Savage puts his hands to his hips, catching his breath and looking around to the audience. His eyes are begging the audience for suggestions. Savage looks around the cage and begins to follow his eyes. He points up the cage to where a metal pipe is fastened to the cage with Velcro straps. The crowd cheers.

Kevin: I guess Savage wants to get the fans involved. After all, there are a lot of ways for these men to hurt each other in there.

Savage shakes his head no and walks to the corner where his eyes fill with disbelief. He goes to the turnbuckle and works something off the cage behind the second rope. He pulls himself back into the ring and holds up a red and white umbrella. Laughter is heard as Savage pops the umbrella out to show white polka dots on the red material. He holds it above his head for a moment and turns to the audience. He yells out "Red Reign! Get it? He then pops it closed and brings the point down into Semi's ribs. Semi cringes and rolls over, holding his side as Savage tosses the umbrella out of the cage. He then begins persuit of another weapon.

Frank: Just like you said earlier, these two just want to put each other through hell more than win this match.

Kevin: Both of these men are bleeding and welted and bruised. I just don't see how long this can last.

Savage points to the middle of the cage on one side where a chair is fastened in place. The crowd cheers a little. Savage moves on. He then points to the top of one corner where a chain is dangling. A bigger cheer rises up, but Savage continues on. He then gets a strange look as he notices something lower. He makes his way over to the black bag that Semi slid under the corner earlier. Savage grabs the bag and peeks inside. His eyes grow wide and he nods his head. He pointed at the bag, saying "this is the one."

Frank: Whatever that is, it's going to hurt. No two ways about it.

Kevin: I honestly don't want to know.

Savage steps away from the corner turns, and empties the bag, spilling hundreds of glistening metal tacks over the canvas. The fans shriek.

Kevin: Oh no!

Frank: Oh yes! I knew it! It's going to get ugly.. er.

Savage kicks some of the tacks around to spread them out and looks out at the fans, sadistically. He turns to find Semi getting to his feet, but having much difficulty. Savage quickly makes up the difference between them and comes in, throwing a big elbow, but Semi counters powerfully. Semi wraps his arms around Savage and hurls him up over his head with a belly to belly suplex that launches Savage up and over. Savage flips over and crashes into the barbed wire hanging down in the corner. Savage yells as he is hung up, with his legs wrapped around the top ropes on either side of the turnbuckle and the barbed wire coiling down in front of it. Semi shakes his head clear and gets back to his feet, wiping some of the blood from his head. He looks dazed.

Kevin: What a counter! I think Savage hit that barbed wire so hard he stuck to it!

Frank: Or it stuck to him. Either way, that man is in a world of pain.

The referee checks on Savage and tries to free him from the barbed wire. Semi makes his way over to the ring once he's finally gotten his wits back and shoves the referee out of the way. He then turns and stomps half way across the ring, noticing the tacks for the first time with a grin. Semi then quickly turns around as he calls for the horn blow.

Frank: Oh no.

Semi charges full speed ahead and collides with the momentum of all 18 wheels into an upside-down Savage in the corner, smashing Savage into the sharp barbed wire. The fans gasp.

Kevin: GOOD LORD!

Semi steps away from the corner, after pulling some of the wire from his own arms, and watches as Savage squirms and groans in the corner. He falls from his position hanging from the top rope and falls to the canvas, and on top of even more wire

Kevin: Oh my god! I can't Imagine Savage having any skin left on his back at all after that!

Frank: We knew there was going to be blood, and there sure has been. Savage definitely won't look pretty after that.

The referee begs that Semi get back and he does. The ref then helps Savage remove the barbed wire from his back. Savage, however, rolls to his feet and shoves him away. He yells and howls. Semi laughs as he watches from the adjacent side of the ring. Savage reaches up for the wire that is still connected to the top and tugs. Several more coils pull down and an end comes with them.

Frank: Well, at least Savage isn't the cage's literal puppet any more.

As the sharp barbs are peeled from Savage's skin, his back becomes covered in a sheet of blood. Semi continues to laugh from the corner, now louder than ever. Savage finally frees himself and stumbles across the ring on his hands and knees. He clutches his back with one hand a screams in agony. Upon seeing his hand, he jumps to his feet and leans back into the ropes. He looks wild-eyed to the sky and gnashes his exposed teeth, breathing heavily. He turns to crazed focus down to Semi; who's loud laughter silences immediately. Semi's face becomes furious as well. Both men charge.

Kevin: They just won't quit!

Savage and Semi meet in the center of the ring, fists flying. Savage crashes a hard right into Semi's nose.

Fans: Yay!

Semi hits Savage with a left hook to the eye.

Fans: Boo!

Savage slugs Semi in the top of the head, making the blood pour.

Yay!

Semi turns Savage's head with a big fist to the jaw

Boo!

Savage thumbs Semi in the eye, turning his head even further.

Yay!

Frank: I just don't get these fans some times.

Savage sends a knife edge chop into Semi's chest.

YayWooo!

Frank: See what I mean?

Savage throws another hard chop but Semi catches his wrist. Semi quickly pulls Savage in, steps around him, and clutches him in the Chokeout.

Kevin: What a hell of a counter that was! How can Savage get out of this?!

Semi lifts Savage off his feet as he squirms and gasps. Semi then spins Savage around and around. He stops and hops up and down in place, swinging Savage around like a rag doll. Semi finally settles down and Savage falls limp, with his arm being held back and his throat clutched tight. Savage falls to his knees and Semi leans forward, still holding on.

Kevin: This doesn't look good at all for Savage.

The referee goes around to check on Savage, who appears to be out. He raises Savage's free arm and lets it drop. It falls, but stops suddenly. It raises again, the Savage quickly thrusts his elbow into the crotch of Semi. Semi doubles over more and lets out a gasp of air. Savage once again low blows Semi and Semi releases the hold. Semi turns and falls to his knees and Savage collapses into the mat, gasping for air.

Frank: That's one way to get out of a hold.

Savage slowly crawls to the corner and grabs for the barbed wire, coiled up by the bottom rope.

Kevin: What does he have in mind this time?!

Savage pulls himself to his feet, wire in hand. Semi sits on his knees, facing the other way, looking to be in much pain. Savage pushes his arm through the middle of the coils of barbed wire and folds what he can around his arm tight.

Frank: To steal a page from your book, Kevin; good lord! He's wrapping barbed wire around his own arm!

Savage turns towards Semi, who is to his feet, still with his knees clutched. Savage begs Semi to turn around and he finally does. Savage takes off and swings his arm with the full force of his body. Savage collides with a major knockout lariat, that sends them both crashing down.

Kevin: That killed him! That had to kill him! He's dead!

Savage tries to roll away, but his arm is caught in the barbed wire that is attached to Semi's shirt, chest, and arms, brushing up into his face. Semi howls as Savage yanks the barbed wire from Semi, taking a bit of Semi's shirt and blood with it. Savage, still wrapped in barbed wire, covers Semi.

Frank: Good night, Semi; that's it.

1

Kevin: Like I said, Semi is dead. The Cage of Doom just took it's first life.

2

Frank: Without a doubt.

Semi lazily flops his shoulder off the mat.

Kevin: NO! For the love of...

Frank: Wow! NEVER count the Semi as down, and certainly never as dead!

Savage becomes furious and gets to his feet. He pulls his arm free from the barbed wire, which is now heavily streaked in blood.

Savage looks out to the audience, wide eyed, and begins calling for them. He stomps his foot and claps his hands to rile them up. He then motions from them to get to their feet, but most of them are already there. Everyone is standing and screaming now. The low roar turns into a huge one, which seems to awaken Semi and bring him to his feet.

Frank: The power of this Russian crowd is astounding.

Semi turns around to find Savage behind him, with every muscle in his body tensed and ready. Semi's eyes grow wide as Savage scoops down a lifts Semi off the mat. Savage lifts Semi up, flips him, takes a couple steps forward, and slams him down into the slew of thumbtacks around the corner.

Kevin: Oh my god! Savage just slammed the 350 plus pound Semi!

Frank: And on top of hundreds, maybe thousands of thumbtacks none the less!

Semi's eyes grow even wider and he screams. He tries to roll one way, then the other, but there are more tacks both ways. He tries to push himself off the mat with his feet and elbows, but doesn't get very far. Savage, on the other hand, has already climbed halfway up the cage for a new steel chair.

Frank: Savage still isn't done. This may be the greatest match in WHQ history, you know that?

Kevin: Best is disputable; most bloody and horrific, however, is another story.

Savage makes his way back over to Semi, who is trying to get to his feet. His back and the backs of his arms and legs have dozens of tacks sticking from them. Semi puts his hands down and tries to pick himself up, but Savage gets back to Semi with the chair and swings hard, right into Semi's knee. Semi flops straight back down, now on his side in the tacks. Savage raises the chair high and connects with Semi's knee again. Semi tries to beg, but then tries to turn to the turnbuckle and hobble away.

Frank: Savage is relentless!

Savage grabs Semi's foot and tugs, pulling Semi through the tacks. Savage opens the chair and slips it around Semi's ankle and lower leg, then he shuts it as tightly as he can and stomps it into the ground. Semi screams and reaches out, showing that both his taped hands and bare arms are now heavily tacked.

Kevin: Savage still working that leg.

Savage calls to the crowd once more, who go into a frenzy as Savage begins wrenching the chair and Semi's leg around with a modified ankle lock. Semi screams.

Frank: Savage using the leverage of the chair to twist Semi's leg at the knee! That has got to hurt, bad!

Semi screams and claws. He reaches out and grabs the bottom ropes on either side of the turnbuckle and pushes himself off the canvas and the tacks. Savage takes a step and falls to his knees in the tacks, wrenching even harder and now yelling, himself.

Kevin: How long can he last?!

Semi shakes his head no and Savage tugs backwards, pulling Semi back down into the tacks. Savage wraps his own legs around Semi's and twists his body, pulling the chair around even tighter. Semi's face turns red even under the blood from his screaming. The veins in Savage's neck pop out and his teeth grind as he tugs twists as hard as he can. The fans cheer with all their might, but stop after everyone in the arena hears the snap. Semi screams balistically and taps, pounding down on the tacks. Savage jolts and lets go of the chair and Semi's leg, which limply falls at a disgusting angle. Savage looks on with shock.

Ding ding ding!

Kevin: Oh my god, it's broken.

Frank: Savage wins the match by submission, and like Kevin said, definitely broke Semi's leg. You couldn't not hear that snap. This is serious.

The referee raises Savage's hand, who backs away from Semi slowly, still with shock in his eyes, and a small grin across his lips.

The cage begins to raise from the ring as Savage's music plays. Savage raises his arms for the crowd, who applaud, but he quickly rolls out of the ring soon after. Savage, who is now covered in blood just about all over his body, continues to watch with crazed eyes as the referee tends to Semi. Several other officials and paramedics with a gurney make their way around Savage, who doesn't seem to even notice them. Savage turns and makes his way to the back, triumphantly.

The medics set up the gurney beside the ring, where Semi is still screaming in agony and clutching at his knee. They help him roll under the bottom rope and slide onto the gurney. They strap him down and wheel Semi, who hangs off the gurney on all sides around the ring.

Kevin: *Softly* Folks, there's no doubt Semi has just suffered a serious injury in this dangerous match. We will inform you of any updates.

Frank: Another thing that is for sure here is that this feud has come to an end for the time being. I don't think we're going to see Semi back here for a good while.

A cleaning crew makes their way down to the ring with a large broom, and other supplies.

Kevin: Don't forget, even after all that chaos, we've still got a main event to get to.

Frank: It's going to take a few minute to get that ring cleared for it though. They have to sweep up a lot of tacks, clean up a lot of blood, and properly dispose of a lot of barbed wire among other weapons. Maybe in hind sight, Lester should have scheduled the Cage of Doom for the main event.

Kevin: Let's go ahead and talk about this main event while we have the time. We're still not done, WHQ fans. We've got a dynamite main event for you as we present our second ever WHQ rules triple threat match, and it is for the Undisputed Championship.

Frank: That's right, Kevin. Tonight, Zack Evermore, who has been on a major role, especially since winning the Undisputed Championship in a battle royal over a month ago, will defend against The Puppeteer, Johnny Bullet and the ladies man, Danny Deed.

Kevin: WHQ rules means that these guys have to prove that they are better than everyone else in that ring. To win, you have to pin or submit both opponents.

Frank: I guess that's why they call it the undisputed championship. If you can beat both guys and not just slip in a quick pin, you've truly proven yourself.

Kevin: Especially with stiff competition for the champion like Bullet and Deed. I think this should prove to be Evermore's biggest barrier in his title reign so far.

Frank: Well, Kevin, the ring crew is out of the way and Jenna Fox is taking her place in the ring, so I guess it's time to get this started.

Jenna steps over the bottom rope and looks around the ring that is now spotted and streaked with dark red.

Jenna: The following WHQ Rules triple threat match is our main event, and is for the Undisputed Championship!

Frank Little: HERE WE GO!

Jenna: Introducing first, from San Diego California and weighing 218 pounds, Danny Deed!

The lights brighten as "Paranoid" hits the speakers and Danny Deed jogs out to the top of the entrance ramp. Danny pumps his fists in the air and points to the roaring crowd.

Kevin: A favorite with many of our fans, especially those of the female variety, is Danny Deed here.

Danny jogs down the left side of the ramp, slapping every hand he can on the way. When he reaches the bottom, he hurries to the other side of the ramp and jogs back up it, slapping every hand he can on the opposite side.

He then dashes down the ramp and slides into the middle of the ring. Danny jumps to his feet and pumps his fists in the air as he hops up and down in the ring. He slaps the referee a high five and skips to the back corner of the ring and begins to stretch as he waits with a grin from ear to ear.

Jenna: Introducing next, from London, England, weighing in at 225 pounds, "The Puppeteer", JOHNNY... BULLET!!"

Frank: Bullet’s been on a mission, and I think here tonight is where he redeems himself.

"I'm a Man" by Black Strobe hits the speakers and Johnny Bullet appears at the top of the ramp to a loud reaction from the crowd.

Kevin: This crowd is cheering on ALL the contestants in this huge matchup!

Bullet calmly makes his way down the ramp. As he jumps onto the ring surface, the pyro goes off.

Jenna:
And the final participant, from Phoenix, Arizona, the defending champion, Zack Evermore!

Two shots of pyro explode from the top of the ramp and smoke appears as “Unborn” by Reveille begins blasting through the speakers.

Kevin: Frank, we’ve recently found out from WHQ doctors that Zack Evermore is actually fighting real mental issues of sorts, but something that’s been much less reported is the accusations against Benjamin Lester made by Zack’s friend, former WHQ wrestler David Whitman.

Frank: Who cares, they’re all a bunch of nuts.

Zack Evermore walks through the smoke and stands at the top of the ramp with both his arms raised in the air, holding the title high as the fans yell loudly. He motions to the crowd banging his head, then rushes down the ramp abruptly.

He slides in the ring and moves to the nearest turnbuckle and climbs it, pointing to the fans…

Kevin: I’ve gotta say Franky, from my perspective Danny Deed will be hard to beat here. He’s a submission specialist and the two other men aren’t really experts in that area.

Frank: Pffft, you know nothing Kevie. Listen, Johnny Bullet is on a mission from his organization. This kid is going places, and fast.

Kevin: Well whichever way you look at it, Zack Evermore has got a hell of a job on to defend his title tonight.

As the bell rings to officially get us underway the three combatants make their way toward the middle of the ring cagily, sizing each other up. After a short wait Deed makes the first move, going after Bullet with a flurry of fists in a move that Evermore is only too happy to back up, joining Danny in using Bullet as a glorified punching bag. The newly formed duo both whip Bullet into the corner with authority, causing him to bounce straight back out, at which point he’s the victim of a double clothesline. Deed goes to lift Johnny back up to continue the assault, but the champion has other ideas, blindsiding Danny with a swift back breaker that has the submissionist’s upper back and neck bouncing off the mat with some serious venom. Evermore surveys the early damage, the smile on his face confirming his pleasure at his two downed foes.

Kevin: I know WHQ is hardly famed for its long and prosperous alliances, but that was a short lived agreement even by our standards!

Frank: Evermore is doing what he has to Kevie. Any good champion knows you have to use whatever happens to be available to you, and Deed just got used like a cheap hooker on a stag party.

Kevin: Charming imagery there Frank.

Evermore starts clubbing Danny’s back as he begins to rise, following the blows up with some fury punches that leave Deed reeling. The champ looks to take advantage by sending Danny off the ropes, however his opponent is still alive to the situation and reverses the attempted move, showing his speed of both body and mind by hitting Evermore with a vicious looking spinebuster on rebounding. Deed wastes little time backing up the move, landing an impressive corkscrew leg drop on the champ, before flipping back to his feet and quickly ascending to the top rope, urging the champion to rise to his feet.

Kevin: Danny Deed just burst into life here! He’s got the champ reeling like a fisherman on some high-class drugs.

Evermore plays into the challenger’s hands by scuffling up to a vertical base, clearly not totally in control of his faculties yet. He shakes the cobwebs from his head but gains clarity a few seconds too late, as out of the corner of his eye he sees Deed’s boot make contact with his head, taking him clean off his feet after receiving a missile dropkick. Deed jumps straight on top of the champion for the pin attempt.

Frank: Deed trying to wrap it up quickly, one…two…Johnny Bullet makes the save!

Kevin: And the two challengers are going it hammer and tongs now!

Frank: Really Kev? Hammer –and- tongs?

Kevin: Way to be pedantic Frank.

Danny Deed and Johnny Bullet stand in the center of the ring trading blow for blow, until Deed manages to duck underneath a stray right from Bullet and with dazzling quickness takes his opponent down to the matt with a hurricanrana. Bullet gets right back to his feet but only succeeds in running straight into a devastating combination of Thai kicks from Deed that end up with a crushing blow that whips The Puppeteers’ representative right off his feet, for a more extended period face down on the canvas. Danny refuses to rest on his laurels though and looks to lift Bullet up to continue his assault, however Bullet appears to have suckered Danny into a false sense of security as when he’s halfway up he quickly rakes the eyes of the submission master, sending him stumbling away clawing at his eyes while giving Bullet a few precious seconds to catch his breath.

Kevin: Blatant cheating from Johnny Bullet!

Frank: It’s only cheating if you get caught Kevz. Come on, your wife knows that better than anybody.

Johnny Bullet saunters up behind Deed and performs a bone crunching Russian leg sweep, shaking the mat with the force of the move. Bullet then lands a few kicks to the side of the fallen Deed for good measure. He backs into the ropes and measures an elbow drop, landing it right to the heart of his opponent’s chest. Johnny levers Danny up to his feet and immediately locks him in an arm wrench, pulling and twisting his opponents arm from his socket as Deed grimaces in pain. Bullet then whips Danny off the ropes, releasing the hold, and takes him down with a picture perfect running calf kick, hooking the leg in the subsequent cover.

1…2…

Zack Evermore breaks it up!

Evermore sets about taking control of the match, landing various kicks to the back and side of Johnny Bullet, who crawls to the ropes in an attempt to avoid the onslaught. Eventually the referee gets in the middle of the two men, allowing Bullet to lift himself up with the aid of the ropes. Evermore though isn’t hanging around waiting for Bullet to dust himself off and charges the Brit, who manages to duck at the last minute and, using the ropes for leverage, helps Evermore up and over the top rope where seconds later he has an uneasy introduction to the unforgiving floor below.

Kevin: Ouch! That might be the last we see of Zack Evermore in this match.

Frank: Chalk a new champion up Kevie, Evermore is in Wonderland smokin’ a joint with Alice right now.

Bullet peers over the top rope at the fallen champion for a couple of seconds, a smirk spread across his face confirming he’s more than happy with his handiwork. However it was a couple of seconds he didn’t have, as he soon feels the full force of Danny Deed’s boot connecting with his head, courtesy of a springboard heel kick. Bullet’s legs crumple as he falls to his knees, at which point Deed instantly pounces, landing another brutal kick to the head.

Kevin: That shot echoed around the arena! And here’s the pin! One…two…th No! Bullet has a foot on the rope!

Frank: Phew….I mean, of course he does. He’s a smart cookie.

Kevin: Well you are WHQ’s authority on cookies, as proven by your expanding waistline.

Frank: Mention that again and I’ll sit on you.

Deed makes a signal to the fans who cheer, sensing the end could be nigh for Bullet. Danny stalks his opponent as he slowly gets to his feet, picking the perfect moment to land a kick to the gut, doubling Bullet over. He gets The Puppeteer in position for a powerbomb, and gets halfway through the move, lifting him onto his shoulders.

Kevin Johnson: Bullet is fighting back; he’s showering Deed with rights and lefts!

Deed struggles to hold on under the second wind that’s allowed Bullet to land a barrage of punches from his elevated position, but has to admit defeat and drop Johnny to escape further punishment. Bullet lands on his feet and as Deed goes to grab him reacts quicker, hitting Danny with a falling cutter in the blink of an eye!

Frank: Amazing turnaround for Bullet!

Kevin: And he’s looking for something here Frank, it looks ominous.

Frank: He’s got the Boston Crab locked in tight! It’s as good as over Kevie.

Kevin: Deed’s holding on gamely, but he’s right in the center of the ring, he’s got little choice here.

Deed searches desperately for a way out, but Bullet has the hold locked in too far away from even the nearest set of ropes. Deed bravely battles against the inevitable for a painful few moments but eventually reluctantly admits defeat, tapping the mat frantically.

Frank: New champion! The Puppeteers’ rise to dominance has begun!

Kevin: I wouldn’t go that far Frank, remember, WHQ Rules are in effect! Two out of three participants have to be eliminated, and Evermore’s still in this thing!

Just as Bullet gets up, he is hit from out of nowhere by Zack Evermore’s Bombshell!

Frank Little: That opportunistic son of a bitch!

Zack drapes his arm over Bullet as the ref counts.

1…2…3!

Jenna: Your winner and still Undisputed Champion, Zack Evermore!

Kevin: I have to admit, Evermore did not seem too healthy at all during this match, and he didn’t seem like his usual self either…

Frank: He certainly didn't. We're going to have to keep watching to see what's up with Evermore. But for now, that's our show folks.

Kevin: Actually, Frank, before we go, I have just recieved word from the back. We now have an update on the condition of Semi. He did indeed suffer a very serious injury. The Cage of Doom has left Semi with a torn ACL and torn meniscus in his knee. Semi is expected to be out of action indefinitely.

Frank: Wow. Well, we knew the Cage of Doom was going to be violent and weigh heavily on both mens' careers. Honestly, I think we're lucky that's the worst that came out of that grueling match.

Kevin: I guess you're right, Frank. And as you said earlier, that was our show.

Frank: It's been fun, from here in the cold heart of Russia, but it's over. I guess we'll see you at Sunday Night Slam!

Kevin: Good night WHQ fans!

That was just amazing! Great work to all involved but i think the COD might just be the best match in WHQ history...That was beyond sick and i loved every second of it. It's funny that it ended with an ankle lock because way back in the day that was his original finisher and i was gonna ask you to have Jack bust it out but i forgot.

Man I hate being wrong.
